Renovation and expansion of Leilani’s Restaurant at Kaanapali, Maui, including dining, entry, and food service areas, completed in phases to maintain ongoing operations. The six-month project kept the lower level open, with only a three-week closure for entry and restroom renovations, while addressing challenges such as installing a cantilevered roof, reconciling structural as-builts with existing conditions, minimizing dust and noise, and maintaining access in a high-traffic pedestrian area.
